Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026 · Version 1.0
ELIzix (www.elizix.com) works to make its content accessible to people with disabilities,
in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations
(Service Accessibility Adaptations), 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568,
based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines.
Accessibility adaptations made on this site:
An accessibility menu allowing text resizing, high-contrast mode, link highlighting and stopping animations.
Support for keyboard navigation, including a skip-to-content link.
Alternative text for images and the site logo.
Semantic heading structure to support screen readers.
Testing:
This site was last self-tested for accessibility in July 2026 by Eliran Cohen, the site
owner, using manual keyboard-navigation checks, browser accessibility tools, and the
WCAG 2.0 Level AA checklist. As a small business, ELIzix is not required to commission an
external certified accessibility audit, but is open to feedback that helps improve the site.
Supported browsers: the current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on both desktop and mobile.
We are continually working to improve the accessibility of this site. Some parts may not
yet be fully accessible. If you experience any difficulty using this site, or would like
information provided in an alternative accessible format, please contact us — we're happy to help.
Physical accessibility:
ELIzix does not operate a walk-in storefront open to the public. All service requests
are handled remotely by phone, WhatsApp, or email, and any in-person device pickup/drop-off
is arranged individually with the customer by appointment.
This is a small business and is not required to appoint a formal accessibility coordinator
(a requirement that applies to businesses with 25+ employees). For any accessibility-related
request, please use the contact details above.
Privacy & Cookies Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Version 1.0
ELIzix (www.elizix.com) makes limited use of cookies and local browser storage to remember
the accessibility preferences you choose (such as text size and contrast), and to remember
your cookie choice, so the cookie notice isn't shown again on return visits.
Cookies used on this site:
Essential: a cookie that remembers whether you've accepted or rejected this cookie notice.
Functional: local storage that remembers your accessibility settings (text size, contrast, link highlighting, animations).
Analytics: none. ELIzix does not currently use Google Analytics or any other analytics/tracking tool on this site. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated first.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the cookie banner, and you can change
your decision at any time from the link in this policy or in the accessibility menu.
Rejecting cookies may prevent your accessibility preferences from being remembered between visits.
Hosting & where data passes through:
This site is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. As our hosting/CDN provider, Cloudflare
processes technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) needed to deliver the
site to your browser and to protect it from abuse, in accordance with
Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
ELIzix does not separately store website traffic data beyond what Cloudflare provides for security purposes.
Information collected via the contact form: when you use the "Get in touch"
form, we collect the name and message you enter. Submitting the form opens a WhatsApp
conversation, through which your phone number then becomes visible to us as part of that
conversation. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and to provide the
repair or diagnostic service you requested. If you opt in via the checkbox, we may also use
your contact details to send you service updates or occasional promotional messages via
WhatsApp or email; you can opt out at any time. By submitting the form, you consent to this
processing of your information for these purposes.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your information may only be disclosed where required by law.
How long we keep your information:
Contact-form messages and related WhatsApp conversations are generally kept for as long as
needed to complete your repair/service and for a reasonable period afterward (for warranty
and record-keeping purposes), after which they may be deleted. If you've opted in to
updates, we retain your contact details until you ask us to stop or a reasonable period of inactivity passes.
Your rights:
In accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you have the right to
request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, or
to request that it be deleted. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the
details below — we'll act on the request within a reasonable time.
This policy's "Last updated" date will be revised whenever we make a material change to
how personal data is handled or to the service providers involved in processing it.
Service Terms
Last updated: July 2026 · Version 1.0
These terms outline the basic conditions under which ELIzix provides device repair and
diagnostic services. By requesting a service, handing over a device, or approving a
quote, you agree to the terms below. This list is not necessarily exhaustive — additional
terms may be confirmed with you directly for specific jobs.
Cancellation policy:
You may cancel a repair request free of charge at any time before parts have been ordered on your behalf.
If parts were already ordered specifically for your repair, cancellation may be subject to a cancellation fee covering the cost of those parts, especially if they are non-returnable or already in transit.
Once a repair has actually begun (device opened, components desoldered/replaced, etc.), the work carried out up to that point may be chargeable even if you choose to cancel, and the device may be returned in its in-progress state.
Warranty policy:
Warranty period: repairs are covered by a 3-month warranty from the date the device is returned to you, unless a different period is explicitly agreed in writing for a specific job.
What the warranty covers: defects directly related to the specific repair performed (e.g. the same fault recurring, or a replaced part failing under normal use).
What the warranty does not cover: any damage caused by the customer (drops, impacts, pressure, improper use, unauthorized opening/repair by a third party, exposure to liquids or extreme conditions after the device was returned, etc.).
No warranty is provided on corrosion-related repairs, water/liquid damage repairs, or screen replacements — these are provided on a best-effort basis without a warranty, due to the inherent unpredictability of damage already present in the device.
Parts: depending on availability and the nature of the repair, either original or compatible/aftermarket parts may be used, based on the customer's request or, where no preference is stated, ELIzix's judgment of what best serves the repair. The part type used will be confirmed with the customer when relevant.
The warranty covers workmanship and the part used as described above; it does not extend to unrelated faults that develop separately from the original repair.
This warranty section is not exhaustive — edge cases will be assessed individually and in good faith.
Diagnostics:
By handing over your device, you consent to ELIzix opening it as needed to perform diagnostics and the agreed repair.
Diagnostics may reveal additional faults beyond the issue you originally reported. If this happens, we will inform you before doing any additional work.
A diagnostic fee, where charged, reflects the cost of investigating the issue and is separate from — and not necessarily equal to — the cost of the repair itself.
Any price quoted before or during diagnostics is an estimate only and may change once the diagnosis is complete and the full scope of work is known.
Device access & passcodes:
If a passcode, PIN, pattern, or other access credential is required to test or repair your
device, you are responsible for providing it. Without it, some diagnostics or parts of the
repair may not be possible to complete or verify.
Liquid/water damage devices:
For devices with liquid or water damage, there is no guarantee that the device will
function again after treatment, even where the work is performed professionally and with
reasonable care — liquid damage can cause corrosion and failures that only appear later or
cannot be fully reversed.
Data & device loss:
Customers are responsible for backing up their data before handing over a device. There is an inherent risk of data loss during diagnostics, repair, or parts replacement (for example, a screen or battery replacement can in some cases affect stored data).
ELIzix takes reasonable care but is not liable for data loss that occurs during diagnostics or repair, except where caused by our gross negligence.
Beyond taking reasonable care, ELIzix does not guarantee that any lost or damaged data can be recovered.
Uncollected devices:
Once notified that a device is ready for collection, please arrange pickup within a reasonable time.
Devices left uncollected for more than 90 days from that notice may be subject to a storage fee, and will otherwise be handled in accordance with applicable Israeli law regarding unclaimed property.
Payment methods:
Payment is accepted via cash, credit card, Bit, or bank transfer. Unless stated otherwise, prices quoted include VAT.
Pricing & parts availability:
Quoted prices may change if the scope of work changes after diagnostics reveal additional issues.
Turnaround times are estimates only and may be affected by parts delivery delays outside our control; we'll keep you updated of any known delays.
How we work / business details:
Service is generally by prior arrangement via WhatsApp, phone, or email; device pickup/drop-off arrangements are confirmed case by case with each customer.
Service is provided in Hebrew and English.

majeure, and trademarks — see our Terms of Use.
